I just wanna open by saying I hate people who don't judge content by context, and in context, I thought this film was pretty sweet. Yes, there is the continuity problem and some extent of continuity problems- but come on, its a death race movie. Of course Death Race is crap if you judge it by normal movie standards, but death race is death race, man! And while this third installment wasn't a masterpiece, it still delivered enough entertainment for me to go "that was worth it". There's also that ending which, while some might say are cliché or cheesy or "Hollywood endings", I personally thought was awesome. Minus the ultra- numerous plot holes and impossible Hollywood stuff that happens because entertainment conflicts with realism, plus the constant bitching from Danny Trejo and Tanit Pheonix about friendship and deceit is really cheesy and annoying and cheesy and annoying, the only problem I got with this film is that Fred Koehler annoyed the crap outta me with that god awful character "Lists" and the things Lists says which is,I mentioned before, annoying. However overall, this is a nice finish for a Death Race trilogy, if you bothered to see the first two you mightwell see thiswell. And yes, let's hope they don't make Death Race #4.
I do not even know where to start.<br/><br/>This can only be "generously" classifieda major debacle.<br/><br/>I just don't know what to say…………….<br/><br/>I began to watch this with my usual suspension of reality, but it was only 5 minutes into it that I realized that I needed to get drunk real quick if I was going to last for another 20 minutes or so.<br/><br/>After 20 minutes I went into brain freeze and decided to keep it on for the background noise. I suffer from tinnitus.<br/><br/>If you want to put aside some time then give me a call. I have better home movies then this piece of c _ _ p!<br/><br/>Please do not see this travesty. If you do…..you were warned.

If you listen carefully, once York dons the Frankenstein mask, he says one line. But he says it in an American accent. Likely to keep his guiseFrankenstein. It's revealed at the end of this film that Lucas, Katrina and Goldberg make a deal with Weyland, fake their own deaths, escape the prison and are very handsomely rewarded by Weyland but not before burning Niles York and framing himFrankenstein. While this film ties everything up nicely to lead into <a href="/title/tt0452608/">Death Race (2008)</a> (2008), the end has Niles Yorkthe new Frankenstein saying, "I am Frankenstein, I will have my revenge," which could be the setup for another prequel sequel. But most likely York is the Frankenstein who is killed on the track in the beginning of the first film. Aside from the unrated version, a censored R-rated cut (rated R for violence and language throughout and sexual content) has been released in the US, too. Contrary to Death Race 2, the R-rated doesn't only lack some trivial nudity footage but also (and mostly) footage with violent content. This doesn't seem to be most widespread version but video store customers better keep their eyes peeled. The unrated version is approximately 40 seconds longer than the R-rated.
